In the second semi final of the day, Hockey Haryana beat Hockey Jharkhand 4-2. Ramanpreet Kaur opened the scoring for Hockey Haryana in the 25th minute. Within eight minutes Navneet Kaur had doubled that lead, with another to take them into the break with a two-goal cushion. In the second half, Hockey Haryana maintained complete control over the game, and despite a fight back by Hockey Jharkhand, and a heroic brace by Deepika Soreng (63′, 68′) they rode out to a comfortable victory. Goalscorers for Hockey Haryana also included, Gagandeep Kaur (45′) and Ritu (65′).
Hockey Punjab will take on Hockey Jharkhand in the 3rd place game tomorrow, May 14, 2017 at 1700 hours IST. Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy will take on Hockey Haryana in the Final at 1900 hours IST.
