Chennai, 16 January 2019: Day Ten at the 9th Hockey India Senior National Hockey Championship 2019 (Men) B Division in Chennai, Tamil Nadu saw Hockey Coorg miss out on their Quarter Final berth as they drew with All India Police Sports Control Board 0-0 and lost the top position in Pool H to Sports Authority of India.

In another Pool H match, Sports Authority of India beat Hockey Madhya Bharat 2-0. Boby Singh Dhami (33′) and Mohit Kumar (56′) scored for the winners. A Pool H match saw Steel Plant Sports Board beat Goans Hockey 12-0 Nabin Kujur (2′, 11′), Jay Patel (4′, 53′), Rajat Minz (10′,52′), Amit Kumar (19′, 23′, 50′,), Lokesh Vats (33′), Innocenet Munda (36′), Susarun Purty (40′).

Hockey Maharashtra from Pool A, Sashastra Seema Bal from Pool B, Central Secretariat from Pool C, Bengaluru Hockey Association from Pool D, Hockey Patiala from Pool E, Food Corporation of India from Pool F, Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu from Pool G and Sports Authority of India from Pool H qualified for the Quarter Finals to be played on 17 January.

This first-of-its-kind domestic league promises to be a thrilling showcase of the nation's top female hockey talent.
