With a little more than six weeks to go for the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers Odisha, International Hockey Federation and Hockey India on Monday announced that the sale of online tickets for the tournament will go live today. The FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers Odisha will be played by both the Indian Men's and Women's Hockey teams at the iconic Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The two-day event is scheduled for 1st and 2nd November 2019 which is the last stage of qualification for the much anticipated Tokyo Olympics 2020. The Indian Men's Hockey Team, which is ranked no. 5 in the FIH Rankings, will be facing World No. 22 Russia in their FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers Odisha over the two matches. Meanwhile, World No. 9 Indian Women's Hockey Team will face off against World No. 13 USA in their respective two matches. The winners from the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers Odisha will be determined on the basis of aggregate score from the two matches, and will progress to the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The matches during the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers Odisha will take place on both days, with the Indian Women's Hockey Team playing USA at 1800hrs IST, followed by Indian Men's Hockey Team playing the Russians at 2000hrs IST at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium.

The tickets for the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers Odisha are priced at INR 200 for South and North Stands, and INR 300 for East Stand, for each of the two match days scheduled for 1st and 2nd November 2019.
