New Delhi, 4 April 2013: Jharkhand continued its winning streak on the day-2 of the 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship (East Zone) on Thursday at Nagaon, Assam.

In Pool-B game, Jharkhand men beat Tripura 25-0 as Mahendra Topno scored highest five goals. In their earlier game Jharkhand beat Manipur 7-0. In another game of Pool B Manipur defeated Assam 2-0.

In Pool A, Odisha registered easy victory of 5-0 over Bihar while Mizoram beat Bengal 4-0 in another game of the same pool.

Pool AOdisha 5 (Tikei Kujur 40, Punit Kujur 45, Own Goal 53, Ashwin Kujur 58 and Amit Chirmako 65) beat Bihar 0.

Mizoram 4 (Lalmuanawma 14, Vanroluaha 34, Laltanpuia 35 and Ramdintluanga 65) beat Bengal 0.

 Pool B: Jharkhand 25 (Sunil Bhuinya 7, Petrus Tiru 8, 63, Sudhir Munda 10, Soma Bhengra 15, 21, 31, Joseph Nag 17, 57, Amit Bhengra 20, 24, 66, Mahendra Topno 25, 36, 40, 48, 51, Budu Juti 34, 45, 47 and Kumud Kullu 39, 44, 52, 64) beat Tripura 0. Manipur 2 (Bronson Moirangthem 21 and Yumlembam Nelson 58) beat Assam 0.

3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship (East Zone)

Maxima Khalko scored two goals for Assam as they registered 4-0 win over Bihar in the Pool A on the second day of the 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship (East Zone) at Nagaon, Assam.

In Pool B Odisha beat Bengal 5-0.
