Bengaluru, June 30 2018: The Indian Men’s Hockey ‘A’ team showed class as they beat Bangladesh 6-0 in the second practice match held here at the Sports Authority of India, Bengaluru Campus on Saturday.

Rupinder Pal Singh, who is rested for the ongoing Rabobank Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy Breda 2018, was in top form as he scored a hattrick of PCs in the 33′, 35′ and 55′ minutes that gave a sublime edge to the winning team.

India ‘A’ team’s opening goal was scored by striker Akashdeep Singh (18′) who was also rested for the ongoing tournament in Breda. Midfield Kothajit Singh scored the second goal in the 23rd minute while Nilakanta Sharma (51′) was the other goal scorer for India.

The India ‘A’ team featured a combination of players from the Core Group of 48 players who continued to remain in the National Camp after the 18 selected members for the Rabobank Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy Breda 2018 left for the event on June 19 from Bengaluru.
