New Delhi, 16 August 2015: As the Preparatory Camp is going on with full throttle for the upcoming AHF Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2015, India Junior Women hockey team is preparing for the prestigious tournament, which is scheduled in Changzhou, China from 5th September to 13th September 2015. The 7th Women’s Junior Asia Cup is also a qualification tournament for the FIH Junior Hockey World Cup (Women) 2017.

Speaking on India Junior Women Team goal-keeper Inderpreet Kaur, Rani Rampal said, “Inderpreet Kaur is a very important player of our team and her strength is the key factor in our defence-line. She is amongst the best junior goal-keepers around the world and she has proved her mettle in the Volvo Invitational U-21 (Women) Tournament. In the upcoming tournament with her under the bar we are more confident of defending ourselves against the opponents. She has the ability of a quick reaction time and which helps us to keep the opponents from scoring.”

The 7th AHF Women’s Junior Asia Cup will be played from 5th September to 13th September 2015 in Changzhou, China. Total nine Junior Asian teams will participate in this prominent tournament.
