Sushant Gaurav, IAS, Director Sports, Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt of Jharkhand, were also in attendance. Hockey India officials, including High-Performance Director Herman Kruis, Senior Women Chief Coach Harendra Singh, and Junior Women Coach Tushar Khandker, as well as Hockey India Secretary General Shri Bhola Nath Singh and Treasurer Sekar J Manoharan, were also present to witness the opening day.

Indian Men’s and Women’s Hockey Teams set to conclude FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24
The Indian Hockey Teams are currently in Europe to see out the final stretch of their FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24 campaign. Both teams will take on Argentina and Belgium in the mini-tournament in Antwerp from 22nd to 26th May before moving to London to compete against Germany and Great Britain in the mini-tournament from 1st June to 9th June.
Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team begins Europe tour with a 2-2 (4-2 SO) win over Belgium
The Indian Junior Men's Hockey team kicked off their Tour of Europe with a 2-2 (4-2 SO) win over Belgium in the first match of the tour which was played in Antwerp, Belgium. Vice-Captain Shardanand Tiwari (3’, 27’) scored a brace for the Indian Colts.
