New Delhi, 18 February 2013: Indian women’s hockey team started their winning campaign on the first day of the Hero Hockey World League Round 2 Delhi 2013 being played at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium today.

Indian women’s team played attacking game and thrashed Kazakhstan 8-0. India scored four goals in the first half through Jaspreet Kaur (8^th minute penalty corner and 21^st minute penalty corner), Rani (15^th minute and 26^thminute) to claim lead in the game.

In the 2^nd half of the game, India continued to score at a regular interval and converted four goals through Rani (41^stminute), Soundarya Yendala (48^th minute penalty corner), Jaspreet Kaur (54^th minute penalty corner and 70^th minute penalty stroke)

Jaspreet Kaur was adjudged Player-of-the-Match for scoring four brilliant goals.
