Saifai, 26 April 2016: The seventh  day of the Senior Men’s National Championship (A Division) saw matches played out between teams from Pool C, Pool D, Pool A

The first match  of Pool C  saw Namdhari X1 beat Service Sports Control Board by 1-0, For the Namdhari boys Harwinder Singh (40’) scored the lone goal of the match. The second match from the Pool witnessed Hockey Punjab decimate Hockey Jharkhand by 7-0. For Hockey Punjab Gurjinder Singh(41’43’) and Parvinder Singh (54’59’) scored brace while the other goal scorers of the match were Vikramjit Singh (21’) Ajay Kumar (24’) and Ajit Pandit (31’).

The first match of Pool D saw Hockey Haryana draw against Hockey Odisha 2-2, For Odisha Teophil Kujur (4’) and captain Alok Barla(45’) scored the two goals  respectively, while for Hockey Haryana  Bharat (32)  and Sandeep Singh (35’) netted the goals. The second match from Pool D saw Hockey Gangpur Odisha beat Hockey Patiala 6-1. For Gangpur-Odisha Pratap Lakhra (6’ 53’) scored brace, The other goals came from the sticks of captain Roshan Minz (27’) Bikash Toppo (29’), Sanjay Xalso (33’) and Anmol Ashish Minz (42’),  The only goal from Patiala was scored by Lovjeet Singh (12’)
