Etawah, 24 April 2016: The 5th Day of Hockey India 6th Senior Men National Championship 2016 (A Division) saw games from Pool B,C and D.

The first match from Pool B saw The Mumbai Hockey Association beat Association Of the Indian Universities 2-1, For the boys from Mumbai Mayur Patil (40’) and Harjit Singh (53’) netted the goals , while for the Association of Indian Universities Maninderjeet Singh (35’) scored the opening goal of the match. In the second match from Pool B Uttar Pradesh Hockey beat Hockey Bhopal 2-1. For the team from Uttar Pradesh Ajay Yadav (10’) and Arjun Yadav (49’) netted the goals, while for Bhopal Taj Mohammed (5’) scored the goal.

The first match from Pool C saw Hockey Punjab beat Namdhari XI 3-0, For Hockey Punjab Gurjinder Singh scored brace (32’36’) while Parvinder Singh scored  the other goal (37’). The second match from Pool C saw Air India Sports Promotion Board beat Services Sports Control Board 2-1,  For Air India Nitesh Kiro (24’) and Pawan Kumar (43’) netted the goals, while for the services Chandan Aind (52’) scored the lone goal for his team.
