HIM Academy, the Academy Member of Hockey India is making its best efforts to promote hockey in the grassroots district of Solan, Himachal Pradesh.  As a result of its efforts, the newly constructed hockey stadium of HIM Academy at Guru Nanak Public School Jagaat Khana in Solan will be inaugurated on 6^th September 2014. The stadium will be inaugurated by Mr. Ali Raza Rizvi(IAS) Principal Secretary (Higher Education, Elementary Education, Information Technology) and Director, HIM Academy.

Initially, the stadium had a natural grass field but HIM Academy aims to install an artificial turf soon. The stadium also has a capacity to accommodate 2000 spectators and a hostel with 10 rooms is ready for the academy players. HIM Academy has 80 girls of different age groups are currently training there.
