New Delhi 14 April 2013: Chandigarh defeated host Haryana 2-1 to enter the final of the 3^rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship (North Zone) played at Sonepat, Haryana on Sunday.

In the semi-final-1, Chandigarh took lead in the 9^th minute with the field goal scored by Milanpreet Singh but Haryana leveled the score in the 31^st minute. Milanpreet Singh score second goal for Chandigarh in the 34^th minute which helped his team to win the semi-final.
